Great morning of racing today at Nundah for the Eric Hawkins Memorial Race which was very keenly contested in the feature A grade race. Well done to Liam Walsh for the great win (and $500 cash!) going back to back from 2024. The race featured many breaks but all were dragged back. Riders attempting to get away included Jack McInstry, James Bartlett, Dave Edwards, Rohan Haydon-Smith, Matt Lambert, Nick Pedler, Josh Beikoff, Tom Waites, Ryan Thomas and Elliot Shultz who was in nearly every move. Finishing with bunch sprint it was the in form Walsh brothers Liam and Finn going 1 & 2, with Blake Quick rounding off the podium. Liam's name goes on the perpetual trophy with a long list of top riders since 2016. The primes were won by Matt Lambert, Jack McInstry and Elliot Schultz.

Winner: Nick Bladen (Balmoral Cycling Club) with a time of 29:36.
Second place: Zachary Douglas-Savage (Balmoral Cycling Club) with a time of 29:44.
Third place: Andrew Friebe (University of Queensland CC) with a time of 29:49.
Bladen's lap times were consistently around 1:27 to 1:30.
B Grade
Winner: Mark Croonen (Hamilton Cycling Club) with a time of 31:53.
Second place: Jordan Mann (Hamilton Wheelers Cycling Club) with a time of 32:10.

Michael Taylor from Echuca/Moama Cycling Club won with a winning with a time of 42:17.
